I attended the private view of the Southwold Art Circle Summer Exhibition this evening , where I received my prize for the Presidents Award for Drawing. Wow, fabulous evening, so many lovely compliments, good company and the exhibition is stunning, such varied and excellent work is well worth a look.

 Brilliant day, drawing-wise, as usual. Fabulous model, George, thank you. Catch up with friends and very scrummy lunch, all delightful.  

HAS...................WooHoo!

Wonderful day, catching up with friends.........it seems such a long time since I went to a HAS life session. I elected to take only drawing materials and regretted not having my oils to paint the glorious model. I don't usually have dark skin to paint, so missed opportunity there. We followed the usual format, with quick sketches throughout the morning and a longer pose in the afternoon.
